I received a similar email today from a contact form at a one of my sites at a different hosting provider. It had a different name for the sender but the same gmail address. I checked with Ken at Northern Graphics OPS, our new web service provider, on this. He doesn’t think these emails are coming from a robot if a math quiz is used. He thinks the emails could possibly have something to do with a new European law on privacy that is to be implemented in coming months, and someone is trying to work around that law before it becomes law. If you get another email from the same gmail address, maybe Karen’s idea of changing the math quiz could be tried.
