Because modern web browsers provide excellent accessibility features, on January 15, 2026, WP Accessibility Helper was deactivated as a required feature on Lakekit sites. WP Accessibility Helper has been a network activated plugin since Lakekit’s inception and all Lakekit sites had the familiar wheelchair icon as part of the header.
Lakekit members are able to re-activate WP Accessibility Helper from their administration area. Contact the volunteer team if you have questions.
