Your Options for Using Plugins

All Lakekit users have the option to activate and use certain plugins. Lakekit’s recent effort to optimize the plugins available, also categorized the plugins to help make this easier for users.

Level 1 plugins are available for each lakekit.net member at their logged in site. Level 2 and 3 are available upon request. More information is available in the table on page 3 or at the Members Only menu HERE. Names listed with the plugin descriptions in the table provides you with which of the Lakekit volunteers can provide specific plugin support.

About half of the available plugins for Lakekit are network activated so their functions do not need to be activated by Lakekit members. Use this table to learn about the available plugins that you can activate locally at your option. Contact the volunteer team HERE if you have interest or questions.

LEVEL 2 — Fully Supported Plugins Requiring Assistance from Volunteers to Activate and Use

Code Snippets – Allows users to add, manage, and execute small pieces of code (snippets) on their website without directly modifying their theme’s files. This is a clean and organized way to integrate custom functionality – Jerry
Embed any Document – Lets you embed your PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents into your WordPress website. The plugin integrates Google Docs Viewer and Microsoft Office Online to display documents on your website – Jerry
Noptin – Allows you to create news subscription forms, and create and manage subscription lists. You can automatically notify your subscribers by email every time you publish a new post – Jerry, Karen

Contact Form 7 – A legacy contact form used on some older Lakekit sites, but no longer necessary with features available in Elementor.
Ele Custom Skin – Adds optional capability to display posts on your pages in creative ways.
Members – Useful to customize user roles and their capabilities to manage your site.
NextGEN Gallery – A legacy gallery used on some older Lakekit sites, but no longer necessary with features available in Elementor.
Piotnet Addons – Provides advanced features for Elementor.
URL Shortify – Helps you create links that look how you want using your domain name.
Yoast Duplicate Post – Tool for cloning posts and pages.
WooCommerce – An ecommerce toolkit that helps you set up and manage an online store.
Redirection for Contact Form 7 – Adds more features to Contact Form 7.
